Welcome to the renewed web site of Ohm Miyamura.  I changed the basic software in July of 2010 in order to build, renew and update this site more easily.  I plan to add more poems and translate at least half of them in a year but I am not at all sure I can spare enough time for it.  Yet, I would really appreciate it if you revisit and read more of my pieces and if you would kindly leave your comments about them.

Long ago, by the way, I made a small poetry book of my own by using only a tiny word processor and a photo-copier which included the poem shown below in this same page.  The poem is called "People in the society" and that was also the title of the poetry book.

Since then, several poets and friends recommended me to publish my formal poetry book but for the reasons I do not specify here, I have not yet published any.

This web site is for those people who otherwise could not read or listen to my poems.  Some may feel something disagreeable while others may feel sympathetic but I would really appreciate it if the readers come to this site of mine and feel something from my poems.
